Summary:
We are seeking for IT Support and Asset Management Specialist responsible for the comprehensive management of
hardware and software assets within the company and for our clients. This role involves
overseeing the inventory, control, and maintenance of hardware, as well as managing software
licenses. The ideal candidate will ensure that all hardware is properly tracked, shipped, and
received, while also handling quotations and logistics for client hardware needs. Additionally,
this role requires meticulous management of active software licenses to ensure compliance and
optimal usage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Software management:
a. Review, control, and manage all active software licenses, ensuring compliance
and proper utilization.
b. Credentials Management:
i. Manage the organization’s domain credentials, ensuring secure access
control for all users.
ii. Create, update, and deactivate user accounts based on organizational
changes such as onboarding, offboarding, and role transitions.
iii. Implement and maintain best practices for credential management,
ensuring that access is properly restricted based on role and
responsibilities.
iv. Monitor and manage access permissions to systems, applications, and
network resources to prevent unauthorized access.
v. Collaborate with the IT security team to ensure compliance with security
policies and protocols.
2. Hardware management:
a. Manage and maintain hardware inventory for both internal use and clients.
b. Handle hardware logistics including receiving, monitoring, and shipping to clients.
c. Coordinate quotations and shipping processes for client hardware needs.
d. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all hardware and software
assets.
e. Collaborate with the procurement and IT teams from the Clients to forecast
hardware needs and maintain stock levels.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
a. Maintain detailed documentation of hardware and software configurations,
licenses, support processes, and credential management.
b. Keep track of IT support incidents and resolutions, generating reports on
common issues and trends for continuous improvement.
4. Collaboration with IT Teams:
a. Work closely with network and system administrators to resolve escalated
technical issues.
b. Collaborate with IT colleagues to improve IT services, systems, and processes.
c. Participate in projects aimed at improving the IT infrastructure, ensuring
alignment with the organization’s goals.
Qualifications:
● 4 + experience in IT support or asset management, particularly in hardware and
software.
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and licenses.
● Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
● Experience in managing shipping processes, logistics, and quotations for hardware
distribution.
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
● 4 years of experience in IT support, hardware, and software management.
● Experience in managing credentials and domain access (ABM) for company users.
● Experience with software installation, configuration, and license management.
● Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or ITIL are a
plus.
