Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role will be to enhance the existing legacy 360 system, which has been in operation for approximately 20 years, through comprehensive test automation efforts. The system has accumulated an extensive backlog of manual test cases that need to be automated in order to improve test coverage and efficiency. As a key member of the Automation Initiative, your responsibilities will include automating existing manual test cases, working within an established framework that includes technologies such as C# and SpecFlow, and collaborating with the manual QA teams to ensure a smooth knowledge transfer. You will aim to automate approximately 75% of the current manual tests to improve overall product reliability and streamline future testing processes.


Responsibilities:


Automate existing manual test cases using Selenium, C#, and SpecFlow within an established automation framework.
Work closely with manual QA teams to understand the context of test cases and ensure a smooth knowledge transfer.
Focus on automating approximately 75% of the test design backlog to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Collaborate with agile teams to integrate new and old code from XJS and C# Microservices, ensuring productivity and ticket resolution.
Improve the overall test efficiency and reliability of the 360 system by continuously enhancing the automation efforts.

Requirements:


5+ years of experience in automating manual tests.
5+ years of experience using automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with test automation in a legacy system environment.

Nice to Have:

C# development experience.
Familiarity with SpecFlow.
Experience with ReqnRoll.
Knowledge of API testing and performance testing.
