Project Description: InAllMedia is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our billing and payment platforms. This project supports the program goals and planned efforts of the Billing Experience and Payments team to enhance our billing and payment systems further. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for server-side development, working with databases, APIs, and system integrations to ensure the seamless operation of our applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Design, implement, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Create and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring their efficiency and security.
  • Manage microservices and ensure their proper integration with other systems.
  • Implement API authentication mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, or OpenID Connect.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Implement caching solutions using Redis, Memcached, or CDN services.
  • Scale applications horizontally and vertically, performing load testing to ensure stability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate third-party services such as payment gateways and email providers.
  • Participate in designing server-side architectures, including serverless architectures.

Must-Haves:

  • Proficiency in Java: Advanced knowledge of the Java programming language.
  • Experience with Spring Boot: Extensive use of the Spring Boot framework for application development.
  • Relational Database Knowledge: Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • NoSQL Databases: Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
  • Database Design: Understanding of normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
  • APIs and Integrations:
    • Development of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
    • Management of microservices.
    • Experience with API authentication using OAuth, JWT, or OpenID Connect.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Code profiling using tools like New Relic or Datadog.
    • Implementation of caching with Redis, Memcached, or CDN services.
    • Knowledge of horizontal and vertical scaling and load testing.
  • Server and Networking:
    • Understanding of microservices and monolithic architectures.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Cloud:
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred).
  • Third-Party Integrations:
    • Experience connecting with external services like payment gateways and email providers.
