Data Analyst Engineer

This position is responsible for handling the development and operational aspects of data processing, transfers, and ETL for all data exchanges and transfers required by our client organization

This position works directly with product management, internal stakeholders from other teams, as well as vendors and other external stakeholders to design, develop, deliver, document, and operationally manage data processing and transfer efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Researches and develops solutions in response to Data Services tickets in the clients' task and issue ticketing system.
• Develops solutions using the standard practices, languages, and technologies as agreed to by Data Services team members and management
• Ensures that solutions are deployed and operating correctly in production. Works with other operational team members and management to correct issues in production when needed

• Participates in regular team meetings with other Data Services team members, and provides and seeks feedback from such peers, to ensure that all Data Services issues and tickets are being solved in a consistent and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Python, SQL (preferably with a focus on the Amazon Redshift database), and the Linux command line required.
• Knowledge and experience with agile development methodologies
• Maintains a “hands-on” attitude. Strives to understand, educate team members, and grow in knowledge.
• Detail-orientated with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Finance and card processing industry knowledge preferred but not required.
