As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to support our software development capabilities and lead the replacement of our current ActivePDF solution with a customized, cost-effective alternative. We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our Life Sciences group and play a key role in developing a customized, royalty-free alternative to our current ActivePDF solution. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences. As a Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement responsive and intuitive frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement responsive and intuitive frontend solutions using Angular (10 and above), Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with backend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Implement best practices for front-end development, including code quality, performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement and mentor junior developers.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into interactive and engaging user interfaces.
- Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs to deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize frontend performance for speed and scalability.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to make informed decisions about front-end architecture and tooling.
Requirements:
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated experience developing software in an organization using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Familiarity with coding best practices, design patterns, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Proficiency in Windows, Angular (10 and above), Typescript, HTML, CSS, and GIT.
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Windows Log (nLogger), knowledge of self-signed certificates, and experience with Active PDF.
